The St Edward’s Conference Room at Palazzola is a highly adaptable space, with the ability to accommodate any group up to 64 people in a theatre, square, or horseshoe seating configuration. It is situated in a dedicated wing, with exclusive access to a private terrace which offers breathtaking views across Lago Albano. The Conference Room has full audiovisual facilities to enhance all types of presentation.
With a conference package, you will have exclusive use of Palazzola and all its facilities for you and your attendees. We have 54 bedrooms available for booking, and your delegates will be able to take advantage of all of Palazzola’s facilities: the delightful terrace garden, the outdoor swimming pool and sports facilities, the library, and delicious meals served outdoors or in the oak-panelled dining room. We can provide a much more personal service than any hotel or conference centre, and at a highly competitive price, too.
Palazzola is set in a stunning woodland and lakeside setting in the Alban Hills south of Rome. Enjoy breathtaking views across Lago Albano to Rome and the Mediterranean. A change of scene can have a wonderful effect, so Palazzola’s beautiful location means that you are almost certain to see productive outcomes from your conference or retreat.
Palazzola has been a place of prayer and worship for 800 years, and we particularly welcome groups of sisters, clergy, and religious. Groups which have previously made a retreat at Palazzola include the Presentation Sisters and Brothers, the Holy Child Sisters, the Christian Brothers, ARCIC, the Benedictine Lay Association, the bishops of England and Wales, and the Swiss Guards.
If you are coming for a retreat, our beautiful 13th-century church is open at all times. In addition, there is a small prayer room available for use. If you require a chaplain for daily Mass or other services, please get in touch and we can make the arrangements.
